Adopt a Dog with Mileage

There’s no denying the appeal of a warm, wriggling, puppy. But in my experience, pets with a little more mileage on them are less likely to eat the couch or re-landscape the yard. Muttville is a lovely charity dedicated to seeing that older dogs, homeless for no fault of their own, get good homes.
